Step #1: installing
under-slab utilities

After the foundation and compacting the fill, install under-slab utilities for plumbing and/or electrical conduits below the fill line.

B.

Re-compact the fill over the plumbing and/or electrical conduits for a flat fill surface.

C.

To minimize slab cracking, the fill should be completely compacted with proper fill material.
