Urbansun provides the owner-builder with professional construction services either as a construction project manager or as a construction management consultant. Construction project management involves obtaining sub-contractor quotes, material acquisition, task scheduling, and managing the day-to-day process of constructing the home, while construction management consulting involves assisting the owner-builder and general contractor acquire and build the solar and green aspects of the home.

Construction project management or construction management consulting may include all or some of the following:

1. Solar energy performance calculation/modeling for space heating
2. Cost estimating and sub-contractor’s bid preparation and proposal review
3. Convective air slab design review and installation management
4. Solar and green material and/or product selection and acquisition
5. Construction material delivery, task scheduling, and building inspections
6. Cost control management; budget-to-actual and remaining balance reporting

The owner-builder can select any/all of the above construction management services. The owner-builder approves all sub-contractor and supplier invoices and directly pays for construction-related fees, services, and materials.
